  • During our consultation call we will discuss which insurance you carry and may ask for a copy of your card to ensure coverage.  If we do not accept your insurance, we will discuss cost up front so you know if you can afford our services or not.

  • Most first sessions focus on getting to know you, understanding your concerns and discussing your personal goals.  If the client is a child we discuss whether based on their age and circumstances if they should be present the first session or only the caregivers at first.

  • Yes.  Confidentiality is a key part of therapy.  The only exceptions are safety concerns such as harm to yourself or others.

  • Finding a therapist you feel comfortable with is important-consider their approach, personality, and experience with your specific concerns.  We offer free consultation calls to address these concerns before scheduling our initial appointment.

  • The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and needs.  Some people see progress in a few sessions, while others benefit from longer term support.
