Kim Ellison, LCSW-R has been providing on-site supervision to students and clinicians for over 15 years. At Hudson Valley Therapy we are always looking for MSW and MHC students willing to challenge themselves while learning how to provide services to children, adolescents, families and adults. Clinical Supervision

As Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), Megan and Kim bring a combined total of over 25 years of professional experience to the supervisory relationship. Our clinical supervision services provide a structured, supportive environment where associates can bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world practice.
By leveraging our extensive background in the field, we focus on sharpening your unique clinical identity, mastering case conceptualization, and navigating complex ethical dilemmas. We ensure you meet all state licensure requirements while fostering the resilience and high-quality care necessary for a long-lasting career in mental health. Whether you are seeking individual or group sessions, we are committed to acting as a "crucible" for your professional development, grounded in decades of seasoned practice.
Megan is SIFI (Supervision in Field Instruction) certified from Adelphi University. She has expertise in grief, trauma and Pre-natal/post-natal infant mental health.
Kim is also SIFI certified and has extensive experience supervising clinicians in a variety of settings. Kim specializes in working with children & families, providing parent training, trauma informed care, as well as anxiety and depression treatment for clients of all ages. Kim is also trained in Internal Family Systems known as IFS.
